SUBJECT:  EXECUTIVE PASTOR SEARCH
Greater Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church is located in the capital city of Tallahassee the location of Florida A&M University and Florida State University. An opportunity is extended for all anointed, interested, and otherwise qualified applicants to submit a complete application package for the position of Executive Pastor. This predominantly African-American growing congregation was established in 1939. The primary duties of the Executive Pastor are to provide pastoral care leadership to the congregation and supervise the overall management of the church under the direction of the Senior Pastor. Candidates must provide consent for drug, criminal background, and credit check if selected for an interview with the search committee.

Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed and Ordained Minister
Bachelor Degree with Formal Seminary Training or ten years of experience as a pastor
Ability to preach and teach Biblical principles and sound doctrine
Demonstrated leadership ability in the church environment

Application Process:
Submit a copy of your resume and a letter of interest stating your philosophy of ministry
Submit two professional reference letters and two personal reference letters
Submit two recently recorded sermons

All information should be clearly labeled to the attention of the Search Committee and submitted to the church office via U.S. mail by January 31, 2011.
