Information: An Open Door Adoption Agency, Inc. is a private, licensed, nonprofit Christian adoption agency dedicated to saving the life of the unborn child through offering adoption as an alternative to young women with unplanned pregnancies. We have been established for 21 years now, and have placed over 1500 children into loving Christian homes. We are both international and domestic, and we never turn down a child regardless of health or race or anything. We believe that all children are God's children, and that we have been humbly privileged to be used as His instruments to save children's lives. We have always found a home for every child that comes to our agency. We learned a long time ago not to fear, but to trust that God would bring just the right family, AND HE HAS!!

Volunteer Needs: We are in need for an intern. Possibly someone who is in school and needing academic credit for an internship job. There are hundreds (approximately 4 months worth of full time work) of files that must be scanned onto a disc for licensing requirements since they are doing away with paper files. This job is so enormous and tedious that average volunteers can't stay with it. Other jobs would be to send letters and photos to birthmothers monthly that come to the agency from the adoptive families. Filing, answering phone, making packets to send to new prospective adoptive families. Many other jobs too numerous to mention. Our agency is such a positive place to work that volunteers are blessed. Witnessing birthmothers placing their children with loving adoptive families, and knowing they are doing the right thing is such a miracle to watch.
